FellSwoop Theatre offer a variety of workshops to secondary schools and theatre youth-groups across the country which help support learning about making theatre that is contemporary, inventive and exciting to both watch and be a part of.
As an ensemble company who focus on devising, storytelling and adaptation, our workshops suit the secondary school curriculum for groups of students who are working on their devising or adaptation modules. We explore techniques on how to generate new work from scratch or how to further access a stimulus. Similarly, we are able to tailor our workshop to the specific group’s interests or needs: from learning about physical theatre and the basics of puppetry, to storytelling and working with music.
As a company, we have plenty of experience under our belt working and performing with children in education; spanning primary and secondary ages and as youth-theatre practitioners for leading theatres in the UK. Our show Belleville Rendez-vous was selected for Tobacco Factory Theatre’s DNA initiative – a programme of workshops and performances in schools around Bristol.
