Now online – Five Days in March trailer

Award winning company FellSwoop Theatre present the UK Premiere of Five Days in March by Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada.

Five Days in March is performed indoors, ideally in a café or a place that naturally invites people to congregate, in groups or individually, to pause, reflect, observe others or chat. The production relies on its live music and the physical performance of its international cast to deliver Okada’s intricate or ‘hyper-real’ modern language.

Performed by eight actors from the UK, Mexico, Russia, New Zealand, Norway and Japan. Five Days in March tells the story of Minobe and Yukki, two young strangers who meet by chance in Tokyo and spend five nights in a love hotel whilst Iraq is being invaded by the US.
