IMG_6964Bertrand Lesca (Co-Artistic Director)

Bertrand assisted Peter Brook (A Magic Flute – World Tour) and Declan Donellan (‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Ubu Roi – World Tour). Bertrand has experience working abroad with venues, international companies and festivals including the Festival of Performing Arts (Hong-Kong) and Perth International Festival (Australia). Bertrand also toured in France, Spain, Italy, Taiwan, South Korea and more recently in Japan where he attended Festival/Tokyo.
Directing credits with FellSwoop Theatre include: Ghost Opera (Lowry, Tobacco Factory Theatres), To Know How You Stand (Warwick Arts Centre), Ablutions based on the novel by Patrick DeWitt (Bristol Old Vic), Five Days in March, Current Location by Toshiki Okada (Madrid Fringe) and By the Bog of Cats (NSDF).
Assistant directing credits include: Ubu Roi, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore (Declan Donnellan / Cheek by Jowl), Une Flute Enchantée (Peter Brook / C.I.C.T), Austerlitz based on the novel by W.G Sebald (Jerome Combier & Pierre Nouvel / Festival Internationale d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence).

Fiona Mikel (Co-Artistic Director)

Fiona is a co-founder of FellSwoop Theatre Company, for whom she has directed, devised and performed in many of their shows.
Acting credits for FellSwoop Theatre include: Ghost Opera, Current Location, Ablutions, Most Drink In Secret, and Five Days in March. Other acting credits include: Riot (Wardrobe Ensemble), Return to the Silence (Curious Directive), By the Bog of Cats (NSDF).
Directing credits include: Belleville Rendez-vous (UK & Ireland Tour – Winner of the 2011 NSDF Edinburgh Emerging Artist Award), Eliza & the Wild Swans (Wardrobe Ensemble).

Ben Osborn (Musical Director)

As the musical director of FellSwoop theatre, his productions have won the Cameron Macintosh Award for Music Theatre (By the Bog of Cats), the Methuen Emerging Artists’ Award, with judges’ commendation for music (Belleville Rendez-vous) and the Ignite Critic’s Choice Award (Ablutions). His songs have been performed around the UK and won the New Roots prize in 2003, and his short stories and articles are regularly published in magazines and anthologies.

Jesse Meadows (Performer and producer)

Jesse has worked with FellSwoop Theatre as an actor, deviser, assistant director and producer. Acting credits include: Great Big Story Mix Up (Bristol Old Vic), 33 (National Tour), Tea Time (Oxford Playhouse), Eliza and the Wild Swans (Bikeshed Theatre), RIOT (National Theatre), Winnie the Witch (Pegasus), Belleville Rendez-Vous (National Tour), Home Alonely (The Wardrobe Theatre).
