We are delighted to announce the next stage of development for our forthcoming show, an adaptation of Patrick DeWitt’s novel Ablutions, has received Arts Council funding. This is a great opportunity for us to create the show over a three week rehearsal period, in beautiful Bristol, and together with Bristol Old Vic’s Ferment programme, we will perform the completed show in April 2013.
And so our Christmas will begin with our first week of development which will culminate in a rehearsed reading at Bristol Old Vic, to test out our ideas to you lovely people, how the structure is taking shape since our work-in-progress at Bristol Old Vic Ferment in July. Please come along and have a mince pie and a sherry!
We aim to document our devising process right here on our blog, from line dancing to jamming Japanese funk and soul… some of it won’t be pretty… but neither is the book.
